Wenn man Kunsthandwerker*innen fragt, woher sie ihre Inspiration beziehen, dann ist die häufigste Antwort „aus der Natur“. Grund genug, um diese Inspirationsquelle einmal genauer zu thematisieren.

Natur – das ist ein weites Feld. Da gibt es Gräser, Flechten, Moose, Blumen, Bäume, Wasser, Meer und Seen, große und kleine Tiere, Insekten.

Wie immer suchen wir spannende, zeitgemäße Arbeiten zum Thema aus allen Materialbereichen und freuen uns auf Ihre Einsendungen aus den Bereichen Kunsthandwerk, Design, angewandte Kunst. Arbeiten der freien Kunst sind nicht zur Teilnahme zugelassen.

Inspired by Nature

Exhibition at Handwerksform Hannover:
25th March 2023 until 29th April 2023

If you ask craftspeople where they get their inspiration from, the most common answer is "from nature". Reason enough to take a closer look at this source of inspiration. Nature - that's a broad field. There are grasses, lichens, mosses, flowers, trees, water, sea and lakes, large and small animals, insects.

As always, we are looking for exciting, contemporary works on the theme from all material areas and look forward to your submissions from the fields of arts and crafts, design, applied arts. Works of fine art are not eligible for participation.

The closing date for applications is 15th of November 2022 (date of postmark is valid). The jury’s decision on participation or non participation will be announced until the beginning of December 2022
